Hey there, I'm Jiyun Gao, originally from China but now soaking up the vibes in the US for the past 6 years, splitting my time between SVA and AAU. It's been quite the journey!

Navigating through a different culture and overcoming the language barrier has been a wild ride, but I've embraced every challenge head-on. From sorting out all the necessary documents to building connections with some incredible folks along the way, it's been one heck of an adventure.

In pursuit of my passion for 3D animation, I hustled hard during my spare moments at school to put together some killer demo reels. Landing that first internship gig wasn't a walk in the park—I faced my fair share of rejections. But you know what? I refused to let setbacks define me. I dusted myself off and kept pushing, sending out applications left and right until I snagged not one, not two, but three offers!
